Some collaborations to look forward to...

I love it when fabulous designers collaborate with chain retailers to create goods for us "normal" people. Target seems to be the best at this, consistently collaborating with cutting edge designers. I have to admit that I never heard of Joy Gryson before reading the latest issue of Harper's Bazaar, but I am totally excited about the white patent woven bag with cutout handles she designed above.



Another collaboration I am totally excited about is the shoe collection that Pierre Hardy has created for the Gap. So Fab!



Let's not forget the soon-to-be released collection of rugs designed by Kelly Wearstler for The Rug Company!

J Crew Wallpaper

These three beautiful dresses are from J Crew's Spring 08 Collection. The textiles are so beautiful that I couldn't help but imagine them as a chic and vibrant wallpaper or even used in a throw pillow. I really think that J Crew should expand and include a home furnishings and accessories department. It would be so successful! At the very least they could sell their fabrics by the yard.

Gladiator Love

I am shocked that gladiator sandals have not been declared "over" yet. It seems to me that every season the magazines declare the gladiator shoe as a must have for the season. I don't care if they are in or out but I NEED to have these Jobilyn sandals from Nine West. My only problem is that I cannot decide which color to get. There are so many fabulous colors to choose from. The best part is that they are only $79!
