John Robshaw Rugs

I have already discussed my love of all things John Robshaw. Now I've just learned that the talented designer has expanded his collection to include rugs. The prices range from $315 to $1640. More Than Just Inspiration?

I opened up the latest Pottery Barn Catalogue today and couldn't help but notice that several of their new items were eerily similar to designs from other companies - all of which I have previously blogged about. I know that designers are often inspired by others and some would say that no design is truly original but I can't help but think that some of these designs are more like direct copies rather than loose interpretations. What do you think? Am I being crazy?

West Elm Rug Love

I am totally digging this new Taksim Tile Rug from West Elm. The lattice style pattern sort of reminds me of Lulu DK’s Chant Fabric, which I love. I think it would be a great substitute for those wishing for a Madeline Weinrib rug but can’t afford the price. The Taksim Tile Rug, which comes in both a feather gray and saffron color, will cost you only $199 for a 5x8 and $599 for a 9 x12.
