One of my favorite contemporary artists is the incredible Kenton Nelson from Pasadena, California. I was first exposed to his work when I saw the above painting titled "Swim Party" featured in one of my favorite films Something's Gotta Give. I fell in love with the painting and through some clever googling I discovered this amazing artist. On a recent visit to the Pasadena Museum of California Art I purchased Kenton Nelson's bookRhyme and Reason, Prose and Cons, which includes an amazing selection of his best work.
