I have been in love with this red and white china from Hermès for a while now. The pattern is called Balcon du Guadalquivir and although I love it, one dessert plate alone will put you back $85. However, I stumbled upon some plates yesterday that I think look quite similar and are a fraction of the cost.

The red velvet collection of plates is available from Rosanna and a set of 4 appetizer plates costs only $30. It is out of stock until January 2008 - perhaps others saw the Hermès connection as well- but I plan on purchasing the set as soon as they become available.

Here are some other fantastic plates from Rosanna's Haute Holiday collection.
